The Glass Center located in North Alabama is locally owned and family operated by Steven D. Smartt. The Glass Center opened in 1989 where Steven Smartt was one of the original installers. In the spring of 1997 Steve bought The Glass Center and has continued to grow the business every year. The first year of operation the business grew over 200% and continues to grow 30-35% each year.

The business started with two employees, Steve was the installer and his sister Connie was the Customer Service Representative. Since then Steve has hired two more installers, two more CSR’s and a sales representative to help with the growth of the business.

Experience is key to Steve’s success with The Glass Center. He and the other installers are dedicated to customer service, safety and satisfaction and have a combined experience of over 30 years. Essex Urethane Adhesives, N.A.G., and P.P.G. Prostars certify all of the installers. They continue the training as often as it comes available.
